By using ihavetodecide.com ("ihavetodecide," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What ihavetodecide is

ihavetodecide is a free tool that uses artificial intelligence to suggest a choice, explain its reasoning, and offer a small next step. Answers are generated automatically by an AI model from what you type. No human reviews them before you see them.

Not professional advice

Answers are general suggestions for reflection, not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. For decisions involving your health, safety, money, legal rights, or other serious matters, talk to a qualified professional before acting. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here.

Not a crisis service

ihavetodecide cannot help in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, or you're thinking about suicide or self-harm, contact emergency services or a crisis line right away. In the US, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free services.

The final decision is yours

AI can misunderstand your situation, miss important facts, or simply be wrong. You are responsible for your own decisions and for checking anything important before acting on it. Features like the coin flip are for reflection, not a substitute for judgment.

Using the site fairly

You agree not to:

• use the site to plan or carry out anything illegal, or to harm, harass, stalk, deceive, or exploit anyone;
• try to get around the daily limits, overload the service, or access it with bots, scripts, or scrapers;
• attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the site's security;
• copy, resell, or rebrand the service.

We may decline requests that could cause harm, and we may block access for anyone who misuses the site.

Daily limits and availability

The site is free and offers a limited number of decisions per visitor per day. We may change limits, features, or the AI model, and we may pause or discontinue the site at any time without notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you type. You give us permission to send it to our AI provider to generate your answer, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share anything you enter, and for not including sensitive personal information about other people.

Answers you receive

You're free to use the answers you get for your own personal purposes. Because they're generated by AI, similar answers may be given to other people.

Affiliate links

Some answers include "Shop on Amazon" buttons. As an Amazon Associate, ihavetodecide earns from qualifying purchases. These links are added after an answer is written and never change the advice. Purchases are between you and Amazon, under Amazon's terms; we're not responsible for products, prices, availability, or anything that happens on Amazon or other websites we link to.

No warranties

The site and its answers are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ihavetodecide and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from decisions you make or actions you take based on the site. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $0, or the smallest amount permitted by law. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
